Full Stack Engineer - London
Summary
Full-stack engineer building and maintaining TypeScript web applications (Angular preferred) in an AI-first environment, using AI tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot to generate, review, and refine production code. Go exposure is beneficial; the role spans testing, CI/CD, and collaboration with product and data teams in London.
In this role you will build and improve full-stack applications in TypeScript, with Go exposure, in an AI-first engineering environment. You’ll review and refine AI-generated code to ensure quality and scalability, while collaborating with product, data science, research, and engineering teams. You’ll shape development workflows and engineering standards, helping deliver valuable, production-ready software. This is a hands-on role that rewards curiosity and continuous improvement, within a cross-functional team that values product thinking.
Responsibilities- Build, maintain and enhance full-stack applications using TypeScript (Go beneficial)
- Utilize AI-powered development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) as core workflow components
- Review and improve AI-generated code for quality, performance and maintainability
- Own testing, edge cases and code quality across all production approaches
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Research and Engineering to deliver commercially valuable solutions
- Contribute to development workflows and continuously improve engineering practices
- Shape technical decisions while upholding scalable architecture and standards
- Demonstrated commercial software engineering experience
- Strong TypeScript experience across modern web apps
- Angular as preferred front-end framework
- Exposure to Go is beneficial
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
- Product-minded approach focusing on solving business problems
- Experience writing clean, testable, production-ready software and code reviews
- Full development lifecycle experience including testing and CI/CD
- Front-end testing experience with Playwright or Cypress
- Excellent communication, collaborative and proactive work style
