- Build and continuously improve customer-facing products and the supporting backend systems that enable them.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, services, and user interfaces across the full application stack.
- Deliver end-to-end product features from frontend experience through backend integration and production release.
- Implement secure, scalable, and resilient solutions with strong attention to availability, observability, and operational reliability.
- Work across TypeScript, Java/Kotlin, and cloud-native services in a distributed architecture.
- Build and evolve event-driven integrations and data flows using modern patterns and strong API design principles.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code with strong automated test coverage at unit, integration, and service levels.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and platform teams to ship features that delight customers and strengthen trust.
- Use containers, orchestration, and CI/CD practices to support reliable delivery and rapid iteration.
- Participate in production monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement of service resilience.
- Contribute to engineering standards, process improvement, and technical decision-making within the team.

- 5+ years of experience building and operating production software in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience developing full-stack applications across frontend and backend layers.
- Fluent in TypeScript and modern JavaScript, with solid experience in frontend application development.
- Fluent in Kotlin or Java for backend service development.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, service design, and API architecture.
- Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of secure application design, data protection, and resilient service behaviour.
- Strong testing practices across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud environments.
- Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tooling for deployment and operations.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, production monitoring, and incident response.
- Experience working in regulated, security-sensitive, or customer-trust-heavy environments is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams with product, design, and platform partners.
- Quick learner with a results-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development workflows.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience building digital products.
