Full-Stack Engineer – Multi-Agent Systems for Government

You don't write code by hand anymore. You orchestrate agents that do. Good, that's the job.

A fast-growing, venture-backed GovTech AI company builds AI for the public sector, powered by its own large collection of legal and regulatory data. Its agents support agencies with writing rules, handling permits and day-to-day operations, and support companies facing heavy compliance work. The platform is already live with several government agencies.

They're hiring 4 full-stack engineers.

What you'll own

• Multi-agent systems throughout the product, including how agents work together on hard legal questions
• Production agent pipelines that public-sector users can trust and audit
• The full stack: a TypeScript front end, AWS infrastructure, and a hand in UI and UX
• Shipping at many times normal speed by orchestrating AI coding agents

What you bring

• Around 2–4 years at startups or another top team (more is fine if the profile fits)
• You know LLMs inside out, including orchestration and how to design multi-agent setups
• Python and TypeScript at a high level, and you think in systems
• AI coding agents are your main tool, and you run several at once
• Agents with multi-step reasoning and tool calls that you put live

Bonus points

• You founded or were an early engineer at a startup from a top accelerator
• You contribute to open-source agent frameworks
• Experience with legal, regulatory or GovTech AI

• Full-time, on-site in Austin, Texas, 9-9-6
• Because of the government work, this role is open to US citizens only
• Based in Austin or ready to relocate right away, and able to start as soon as possible
• Process: interview with a founder on orchestration and systems design → a work trial of one to three days in Austin → offer
