Full Stack Engineer (Next.js / CMS) – Government Project
Summary
Build and maintain a secure, user-centric government digital platform for the Islamic community using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and a CMS, while ensuring compliance with government standards.
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to support the development and enhancement of a government digital platform serving the Islamic community. The successful candidate will build secure, scalable, and user-centric web applications while working closely with product owners, designers, and stakeholders.
Candidates with experience developing digital platforms for community, religious, or public service organisations, or with familiarity with Islamic digital content and workflows, will have an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Build and integrate CMS solutions for content management and publishing.
- Develop backend APIs and system integrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and implement functional requirements.
- Ensure applications comply with security, accessibility, and government digital standards.
- Perform testing, code reviews, debugging, and production support.
- Participate in Agile development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in full stack application development.
- Strong experience with: Next.js, React.js, TypeScript / JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST APIs
- Experience with CMS platforms such as Strapi, Contentful, Sitecore, Drupal, WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, or similar.
- Experience with backend development (Node.js, NestJS, Express, Java Spring Boot, .NET, or equivalent).
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud technologies is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering government or public sector digital projects.
- Familiarity with Islamic-related digital services, content management, or community engagement platforms.
- Understanding of Islamic terminology, religious events, or content governance is an advantage.
