Summary
Full Stack Engineer on a 12-month rolling contract in Singapore, developing and supporting a large-scale Java-based application. Day to day involves new features, enhancements and production support using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, React and SQL in an Agile team.
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join a development team supporting a large-scale application environment. The role will involve a combination of new development, application enhancements and production support, with a strong focus on Java and modern web technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance applications using Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, React and SQL databases .
- Deliver new functionality while supporting and maintaining existing applications.
- Work closely with Agile team members to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve development impediments.
- Support production incidents and provide technical input on application design, development approaches and new technologies.
- Improve code quality and maintainability through clean, reusable development practices.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams on delivery planning, documentation and solution design.
- Manage BAU/RTB development activities and ensure work is delivered within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot and React .
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, SQL databases and Git .
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle within Agile environments.
- Prior experience supporting Public Sector/Government projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and Redux/Context API .
- Exposure to microservices architecture and CI/CD , including tools such as Jenkins and Maven/Gradle.
- Strong troubleshooting, technical problem-solving and delivery planning skills.
This is on a 12-months rolling contract role.
