Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join their innovative team in Kimberley . This role is crucial for developing and enhancing both the front-end and back-end components of our web applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to bring new features to life and maintain high standards of code quality and system performance. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the technological advancement of our company within the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy user-facing features using modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Build and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs using backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby/Rails).
  • Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code for both frontend and backend systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues within a hybrid work model in Kimberley .

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and at least one modern JS framework.
  • Strong experience with backend languages, frameworks, and databases (e.g., Node.js, Python, SQL/NoSQL).
  • Understanding of RESTful API design, version control (Git), and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
