Overview

Role Title: Full Stack Engineer (Python / Java / APIs)

The Full Stack Engineer builds internal applications, APIs, and workflow tools that operationalize AI across the business. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone comfortable building across Java/Spring Boot backend services, Python-based integrations, REST APIs, and Angular or React front ends in an AWS-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build robust ETL/ELT workflows that handle structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources at scale.
  • Design data models and ontologies that maximize analytical value and support graph-oriented and downstream application use cases.
  • Implement data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and integrity checks across ingestion processes to ensure consistent, trustworthy data.
  • Develop APIs and data services that expose graph and enterprise data to internal applications and platforms.
  • Optimize queries and data workflows for performance, scalability, and resilience.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and technical stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and integrate new data sources.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for pipelines, data models, metadata, lineage, and integration processes.
  • Monitor and tune ETL/ELT processes for efficiency, resilience, and scalability, including alerting for data quality issues.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with full stack or backend-heavy development.
  • Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and modern web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Angular or React.
  • Experience deploying and operating applications in AWS.
  • Strong fundamentals in testing, version control, CI/CD, and production support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to NodeJS or event-driven integration patterns.
  • Experience with internal productivity tools, workflow orchestration, or regulated enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with role-based access, audit logging, and secure enterprise application design.
