Role Summary
Raochra is hiring a remote Full Stack Engineer (3-4 years) to help build Intent Check, the first app on our platform, and the patterns (auth, delivery, data) every app after it will inherit. Stack: Next.js/TypeScript on the front end, Node/Postgres on the back, deployed on AWS. You'll own features end to end, from schema to shipped UI, working directly with the founders rather than through layers of process. A dynamic background (varied stacks, industries, or company sizes) is a real asset here: we need someone who orients fast on ambiguous problems, not someone who waits for a fully-specified ticket.

You'll own features end to end, from schema to shipped UI, working directly with the founders rather than through layers of process. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack features end to end: database schema, backend APIs, and frontend UI
- - Develop and maintain responsive, production-grade web applications across the platform
- - Integrate third-party/bought services (identity, payments, email, analytics, LLM vendors) rather than building them in-house
- - Build and maintain backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs with clean, documented interfaces
- - Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
- - Deploy and monitor applications on cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- - Work directly with founders to translate product and architecture decisions into working software under real deadlines
- - Debug and resolve production issues across the stack
- - Contribute to architecture and tooling decisions as the platform's engineering base grows
- 3-4 years of professional full-stack development experience
- - Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience in a modern frontend framework (React or Next.js preferred)
- - Solid backend experience with Node.js (Express/Nest) and/or Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask)
- - Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and comfort writing SQL and designing schemas
- - Experience building and consuming REST APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus
- - Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and basic DevOps: CI/CD, containers (Docker), environment/secrets management
- - Version control fluency (Git) and comfort working in a collaborative repo workflow
- - A genuinely dynamic background: exposure to multiple domains, stacks, company sizes, or project types (agency, startup, freelance, or varied employer history all count)
- - Comfortable working fully remote and independently, owning a feature from spec to deployment, and communicating clearly with non-technical founders
- Experience integrating LLM/AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into production applications
- - Familiarity with authentication/identity providers (e.g., WorkOS, Auth0, Clerk)
- - Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu) and container-orchestrated deploys (ECS or similar)
- - Interest in privacy-by-design systems: data retention, encryption, least-privilege access
- - Prior experience in an early-stage startup, consultancy, or fast-moving platform team
- - Basic design sensibility: comfortable shipping clean, usable UI without heavy hand-holding from a designer
