Summary
Hands-on full stack engineer (backend-heavy) building applications, APIs, integrations, and internal tools and automating business workflows for an established Northern NJ organization; hybrid with 2-3 office days/week. Core stack: Python, React, TypeScript, plus databases and Git.
We’re partnering with an established organization seeking a hands-on Software Engineer to build applications, connect systems, and automate business workflows. This role offers ownership across new development and modernization, with input into technical direction. This is a hybrid position based out of Northern NJ, and you will be expected to be in-office 2-3 days per week.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain applications, APIs, integrations, and internal tools.
- Improve existing systems and automate manual processes.
- Partner with business stakeholders to turn ideas into practical solutions.
- Contribute to architecture, code quality, security, and reliability.
What You Bring
- Ideally 3-5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong skills in modern languages such as Python, React, and TypeScript (this role is back-end heavy but is still full stack)
- Experience with web applications, databases, APIs, and Git.
- Ability to own projects and communicate clearly with technical and business teams.
Cloud, CI/CD, workflow automation, and AI integration experience are pluses.
