Full Stack Engineer - React/Typescript - Python (VP)

As a Vice President level engineer on the Strategic Equity Solutions team, you will help build greenfield services that enhance trader workflows. You’ll work in an agile, autonomous team with global business users, delivering end-to-end software from concept to production. You will drive high-performance, automated solutions that enable faster, more reliable trading capabilities and market connectivity. This role blends backend and frontend work, mentorship, and technology leadership to shape Citi’s Equities platform and overall trading workflows.

• Design and develop robust software from concept to production deployment
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Produce clean, well-documented code and contribute to a high-quality codebase
• Lead engineering best practices and mentor junior engineers
• Evaluate new technologies, including AI tooling, to stay ahead
• Own the full software development lifecycle in a DevOps-centric environment

• Backend proficiency with Kotlin and/or Python
• Experience with microservices architecture and scalable, resilient services
• Experience with containerization platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift
• DevOps principles including CI/CD, automated testing, and trunk-based development
• Domain knowledge of front office trading workflows or market data (advantage)
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
