Summary
Build and maintain Next.js/React/TypeScript web apps and APIs for ZetaBooks, an India-first bookkeeping product for SMEs and chartered accountants. The engineer owns features end to end — UI, forms, auth, performance, and deployments on Vercel/cloud — while collaborating with design and the founder.
Ship Next.js product surfaces and APIs for ZetaBooks and Sabrixa delivery work — clean UI, solid TypeScript, and production reliability.
- Build and maintain marketing + product web apps in Next.js / React / TypeScript
- Own features from UI to API, including forms, auth edges, and performance
- Collaborate with design and founder on India-first UX for SMEs and CAs
- Write clear PRs, fix production issues, and improve developer experience
What you bring
- Strong TypeScript and modern React (App Router experience is a plus)
- Comfortable with CSS systems (not only Tailwind-only shops)
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, auth, and deployment on Vercel/cloud
- Clear written communication in English; Hindi comfort is a plus
Nice to have
- Experience with bookkeeping, fintech, or B2B SaaS
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Business API or payment links
- Prior work on accessibility and SEO for marketing sites
