Full Stack Engineer

Summary

Builds agent-powered risk-management tools for enterprises using AI-first development with TypeScript, React, and Node.js in a fast-paced startup.

My client is redefining how enterprises manage risk in an AI‑driven world. As decisions and transactions shift to agents, traditional risk and trust workflows break; they’re slow, fragmented, and rebuilt from scratch every time. This team is replacing all of that with continuous, agent‑powered intelligence.

They’ve gone from launch to seven‑figure revenue in months, with multi‑year contracts across finance, regulated tech, and healthcare. They’re hiring founding‑team engineers who want to shape direction, ship fast, and earn meaningful pre‑Series A upside.

The Ideal Fit

Either a senior full‑stack engineer (6–7+ years’ experience) or an exceptional junior with clear raw talent who can own product features end‑to‑end.

The one absolute non‑negotiable is an AI‑first development mindset ( AI agents like Claude or Copilot to write the vast majority of your code).

Preferably a full-stack engineer with strong, well‑reasoned opinions on product and architecture, and deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

This is not just an employee hire; they are looking for an intellectual peer.

The benchmark they use is “someone like Andrej Karpathy”: a deep technical thinker with clear views on AI and product, who communicates well and genuinely wants to build.

The environment here is high‑energy, high‑ownership, and focused on shipping.

Required

  • Experience at a top AI lab (e.g., DeepMind) or a high‑bar tech company (e.g., Google).
  • A portfolio of impressive side projects, active personal repos, or even a failed startup.
  • Proven experience shipping 0‑to‑1 products in a fast‑paced startup environment.
  • Published research, conference talks, or recognition such as an Emergent Ventures grant.
  • Demonstrated experience building products that integrate with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) in production.
  • A high degree of ownership and autonomy: an Engineer who thrives when given space to build.

Culture Fit

They put customers first, take full ownership, work hard with gratitude, and create a culture where bold, half‑formed ideas are welcomed because they spark the breakthroughs that matter.
