About the Role
Our client is a IT consultancy focused on various government projects. They are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join and work on a client project to design, build, and maintain high-quality software systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, integrate, and maintain complex software components and system architectures to demonstrate and realise technology opportunities
Build proof-of-concept prototypes and contribute to architectural decisions that address complex, ambiguous problem statements
Apply
agile development
practices and a customer-centric mindset to manage delivery pipelines and ensure solution quality Harness emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to drive business value and improve end-user experience Collaborate closely with UX designers, business analysts, and fellow engineers to deliver robust enterprise products on schedule Provide technical consultancy throughout the systems development lifecycle, including defining technical specifications, configuring environments, and conducting solution testing Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards, code quality, and development tooling across the team Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline Hands-on experience with a
modern web application stack , including technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, Vue.js, Nuxt, NestJS, SQL, and strong-typing languages, along with unit and end-to-end testing practices Proficiency in
AWS Cloud services
and Infrastructure/Configuration as Code tooling (e.g. Lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, Terraform, Terragrunt) Experience with code versioning and CI/CD pipeline tools such as GitLab and GitLab CI/CD Proven ability to architect and deliver solutions to complex and ambiguous technical challenges, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation If you are passionate about technology and meet the above requirements, please don't hesitate to apply.
