At Stochastic, we are pushing the boundaries of AI. Based in Cambridge, MA, Stochastic is an exciting new AI company founded with the goal of democratizing state-of-the-art AI. The Stochastic AI Acceleration Platform optimizes the biggest ML models to be smaller, faster, and cheaper so companies can easily access and scale towards the best performance. Imagine a day where large language models like T5 or GPT-3 are used everywhere - that’s our vision. We are a team of ML engineers and researchers helping make ML more effective by implementing and advancing the latest research in AI for AI and hardware-software optimizations. Stochastic is a spin-off from research at Harvard University conducted through support of the NSF, DARPA, Intel, IBM, ARM, Samsung, TSMC and others. Started with support from Harvard University Physical Sciences and Engineering Accelerator Award and Harvard Allston Venture Fund, we are backed by executives from top tech companies such as Google, Twitter, Yelp, etc. and VCs including three from the top 10 list. Requirements: - Computer Science degree or qualification in a related field - Minimum 2 years of experience related to this role - Solid experience in Javascript/HTML/CSS including ReactJS and NodeJS - Experience in NoSQL, REST and microservices architecture - Proficiency in written and spoken English Responsibilities: - Develop clean web interactions using React - Create and maintain API endpoints integrated with the system - Help design and build the tech stack to ensure high system scalability and reliability - Manage specification, development, testing and releasing of new features You are a good fit if you have: - Extensive experience in designing, developing, or maintaining scalable web services - Experience working on large-scale systems and enterprise software - Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines - Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment processes - Understanding best practices and current trends.
