Full Stack Engineer
Summary
Builds and maintains scalable backend services and REST APIs with Python/FastAPI, designs and optimizes PostgreSQL schemas and queries, and writes component-based React.js frontends. Heavy focus on debugging, root-cause analysis, and production performance tuning alongside product and data teams.
We are looking for a Full Stack/Backend Engineer with strong experience in building scalable backend systems, APIs, and data-driven applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React.js and production debugging.
You will work closely with product, frontend, and data teams to design reliable backend services, optimize database performance, build data pipelines, and troubleshoot issues across applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
- Write component based frontend apps using React.js.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and backend integrations.
- Design efficient database schemas and write optimized queries in PostgreSQL.
- Integrate backend applications with databases, third-party services, and data platforms.
- Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on architecture and technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow backend development best practices
Requirements
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Proficiency in React.js
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, database design, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to diagnose application, database, API, and data-related production issues.
- Understanding of backend architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
- Experience with Langgraph, langfuse, evals is a plus
Good to Have
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with application monitoring and logging tools.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and distributed systems.
