Full-Stack Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to build and improve digital products used by the public. You will work with government agencies and a cross-functional product team to develop reliable, user-friendly digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications and digital products.
• Build clean, scalable and maintainable code.
• Work with Product Managers, Product Owners, UX Designers, Quality Engineers and other developers.
• Develop and improve product features based on user and business requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including Sprint Planning, Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Conduct code reviews and share technical knowledge with the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Continuously improve development practices, product quality and user experience.

Requirements

Must have:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with TypeScript, React and AWS.
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals.
• Experience with React/ReactJS, TypeScript and NodeJS.
• Experience with AWS or cloud-based application development.
• Understanding of CI/CD and modern software development practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in using technology to improve public services.

Good to Have

• Experience with amCharts.
• Experience with SHIP-HATS, APEX or Cloud File Transfer (CFT).
• Experience working on government or large-scale digital products.
