Our client is seeking a Team Lead - Full Stack Engineer to spearhead the architecture, development, rollout, and implementation of enterprise-level software. This position merges hands-on technical guidance and software development proficiency with people management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Leadership: Direct Agile team workflows, overseeing sprint planning, execution, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Software Development: Architect and build highly scalable, full-stack applications.
Technical Governance: Lead architectural design discussions and guide critical technical decision-making processes.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to enforce rigorous, high quality development standards.
DevOps & Delivery: Manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and coordinate release management processes.
End-to-End Management: Supervise the entire project lifecycle, coordinating across development, QA testing, DevOps, and production support teams.
Mentorship & Growth: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and career support to team members.
Innovation: Continuously evaluate and advocate for the adoption of modern, emerging technologies.
Requirements:
Education: Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
Overall Tenure: At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
Backend Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience developing with Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
Frontend & JavaScript Stack: Minimum of 3 years of practical experience utilizing React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Data & Scripting: 3+ years of working experience with Python.
Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of experience operating in a technical lead capacity.
Cloud Infrastructure: Deep proficiency in designing, deploying, and monitoring scalable systems on AWS.
DevOps & Processes: Well-versed in CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and Agile frameworks.
Database Management: Practical experience working with relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL.
Preferred:
Working knowledge of Kotlin
Experience in the financial services industry
Knowledge of accounting or general ledger systems
Work Setup:
2-3x a week RTO
