Summary
A 1-year renewable contract role in Paya Lebar, Singapore, leading design, development, and delivery of a secure, scalable cloud web platform. Day to day: full-stack development with Java, React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, RESTful API design, AWS/CI/CD support, secure coding, and mentoring developers. Salary up to S$7,600/month plus bonus.

Job Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and delivery of a secure, scalable cloud-based web platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into high-quality software solutions. Develop and maintain full-stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies. Design and implement secure RESTful APIs and optimise database performance. Guide developers through code reviews, technical best practices, and engineering standards. Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployment, and cloud-based environments. Drive secure software development practices, resolve security findings, and ensure production readiness. Job Requirements
At least 4 years of software engineering experience, including experience leading or mentoring development teams. Strong proficiency in Java, React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL. Experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating backend services. Familiar with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS), containerisation, and CI/CD pipelines. Good understanding of application security, secure coding practices, authentication, and access control.
