Description

  • Design, build and deploy full-stack features using Next.js, TypeScript, Go and PostgreSQL.
  • Develop APIs, backend services and cloud functions across modern cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Lead to execute the technical roadmap.
  • Break down complex initiatives into manageable, deployable increments.
  • Maintain high coding standards through testing, code reviews and documentation.
  • Support and mentor engineers by helping solve complex technical challenges.
  • Take ownership of systems from development through to production support.

Profile

A Successful Software Engineer Should Have

  • 3+ years' professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in TypeScript, Next.js, PostgreSQL and Go.
  • Experience with Prisma or similar ORM technologies.
  • Exposure to AWS, Supabase, Vercel and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions and software delivery practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to balance quality, delivery speed and long-term maintainability.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 AUD.
  • Permanent position in Melbourne within the Saas sector.
