Recruited by Tempest Vane Partners for a global alternatives investment manager (hedge fund), this full stack engineer role builds business-critical front-to-back office systems in C#/.NET or Java, working directly with Traders, Treasury, Finance and Operations while developing AI tooling and platforms across the fund.

You'll work directly with Traders and business stakeholders to design, build and deliver business-critical systems in an environment that combines the pace of a technology company with the scale and complexity of a global hedge fund.
What you'll be doing
- Owning projects from requirements gathering through to production
- Building full-stack solutions using C#/.NET or Java
- Developing and influencing AI tooling and platforms across the operational landscape of the fund.
- Working closely with Trading, Treasury, Finance and Operations teams.
- Contributing to architectural and strategic technology decisions.
- Maintaining engineering excellence through best practices and code reviews.
What we're looking for
- Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET or Java.
- A strong understanding of AI concepts and modern AI tooling.
- Demonstrable experience delivering AI platforms or products.
- Proven stakeholder management and project ownership.
- Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic approach to delivery.
- Experience with Kafka or stream processing technologies is advantageous.
