Summary

Backend-leaning full-stack engineer building infrastructure that improves the reliability of AI agents in production. Day to day: ship features for agent debugging, evaluation, and replay; design APIs and platform systems (workspaces, billing, SDKs); and collaborate closely with customers. Stack: TypeScript, React/Next.js, Python or Node.js.

About the Role

Join a team building software infrastructure that helps organizations improve the reliability of AI agents in production. This backend-leaning full-stack role combines customer discovery, product engineering, and systems design.

What You'll Do

  • Build product experiences for agent investigation, evaluation workflows, debugging, verification, and replay.

  • Work with customers to understand agent failures, define solutions, and iterate on shipped features.

  • Develop APIs, data models, internal systems, and user-facing product surfaces across the stack.

  • Build agent capabilities for investigating production traces at scale.

  • Design platform systems such as workspaces, permissions, billing, usage features, SDKs, and terminal-first developer tools.

  • Translate insights from teams building production AI agents into product decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • Five to eight years of full-stack product engineering experience, with a backend emphasis.

  • Experience shipping end-to-end products, including polished interfaces built with React or Next.js and backend systems.

  • Strong skills in TypeScript and React, plus Python or Node.js, with experience designing APIs and data models and debugging production issues.

  • Hands-on experience building AI agents, LLM-powered products, or agentic systems, with familiarity in agent architectures, evaluation, or debugging tools.

  • Product-minded engineering experience, including customer collaboration and contributing to product decisions.

  • A computer science degree or equivalent academic background and experience working in product-focused software teams.
