Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design and build backend and data-intensive systems using TypeScript/NestJS and Python.
• Define and maintain system architecture boundaries, keeping LLM/agent reasoning separate from deterministic data processing.
• Build durable, long-running workflows using Temporal or similar workflow engines, ensuring reliability, retries, idempotency, and fault tolerance.
• Develop polyglot services and workers, with TypeScript handling workflows/backend services and Python handling data and AI activities.
• Build high-performance data pipelines using Polars, DuckDB, Parquet, and streaming to process millions of rows efficiently.
• Develop and integrate LLM/agentic systems, including structured extraction and specification-generation workflows.
• Build evaluation and regression frameworks using historical input/output data to detect silent accuracy regressions.
• Design systems for production deployment in customer cloud environments, with containerization and portability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve performance, scalability, reliability, and correctness.
• Lead engineers through code reviews, technical decisions, mentoring, and setting engineering standards.
• Take ownership of features from architecture and implementation through production and ongoing maintenance.
• Challenge existing architectural decisions when necessary and contribute to technical strategy and engineering direction.
