Full Stack Engineer (Tungsten Automation Application)
Summary
Build and maintain enterprise workflow automation apps using Tungsten Automation/Decisions, integrating case management, payments, and reporting with cloud and government systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend and frontend applications, including APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations.
- Build and improve responsive frontend interfaces using established design systems while ensuring performance, scalability, and usability.
- Develop business‑critical workflows supporting case management, application processing, lodgement, payment integration, accounting, document management, reporting, and search functionalities.
- Ensure high software quality through code reviews, automated testing, secure coding practices, dependency management, observability, and DevSecOps.
- Own the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Participate in sprint planning, technical design discussions, effort estimation, and architectural reviews.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, user‑centric solutions.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, system design, data structures, and application development best practices.
- Good understanding of product development methodologies and secure application design.
- Experience designing and implementing workflow‑based enterprise applications, including dynamic case management, system integrations, payment and accounting modules, reporting, batch processing, authentication and authorization, and external API integrations.
- Experience designing and deploying cloud‑based applications, with the ability to integrate multiple external systems.
- 2–5 years of hands‑on experience with Tungsten Automation platforms and/or the Decisions platform is highly preferred, as these are the core technologies used in our application landscape.
- Experience delivering at least one end‑to‑end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project using the above platforms will be an added advantage.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- Agile software development methodologies.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), including Singapore Government SHIP/HATS environments.
- Cloud platforms such as AWS or Government Commercial Cloud (GCC).
- Data migration and document migration projects.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in an Agile environment.
