Summary
A full-stack engineer who builds and productionises web applications — working across React/TypeScript front ends, Python back ends, APIs and integrations, while also owning CI/CD pipelines, containerised deployments, monitoring and testing. Supports prototypes through pilots and live deployments alongside product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support full-stack application development, including front-end, back-end, APIs and integrations where required.
- Refactor and productionise prototypes developed rapidly by delivery teams, improving code quality, structure, maintainability and reliability.
- Set up and maintain development, testing and deployment environments.
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, containerisation and deployment automation.
- Set up logging, monitoring, observability and alerting to support applications during pilots and deployment.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, regression and end-to-end tests.
- Reproduce, investigate and resolve bugs and technical issues identified during user testing and live pilots.
- Work closely with product managers, other engineers and relevant stakeholders to quickly resolve implementation issues.
Requirements & Qualifications
A. Educational Qualification & Experience
- Education: Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering preferred.
Experience:
- Experience building and deploying full-stack web applications.
- Experience with software engineering practices including Git, automated testing and code review.
- Experience with DevOps and deployment tooling, such as Docker, CI/CD platforms and cloud or container-based environments.
B. Technical & Professional Competencies
Essential (Must-Have)
- Proficiency in modern front-end and back-end technologies, such as React / TypeScript and Python-based frameworks.
- Familiarity with logging, monitoring and application observability.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred (Advantageous)
- Experience building or deploying AI-enabled applications, LLM-based workflows or agentic systems would be advantageous.

- Ability to work independently across several projects and operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
- Strong sense of ownership and willingness to work directly with product teams and relevant stakeholders to get solutions into actual use.
