We are looking for a highly motivated Full Stack Engineer with strong experience across modern frontend and backend technologies to build and scale AI-native products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python, Flask, PostgreSQL, and Generative AI.

This is a high-ownership role where you will work across the complete product development lifecycle, from designing intuitive user experiences and building frontend applications to developing backend services, integrating AI capabilities, and supporting production deployments.

The role is suited for an engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, works comfortably in a fast-paced startup environment, and is excited about building intelligent products where Generative AI is deeply integrated into core product workflows.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive, scalable, and performant web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Implement SSR and SSG patterns using Next.js where appropriate.
• Translate Figma designs into reusable, accessible, and high-quality UI components.
• Develop AI-native user experiences including chat interfaces, streaming responses, AI copilots, and intelligent workflows.
• Manage frontend state, API integrations, error handling, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Flask.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for frontend applications and third-party integrations.
• Integrate Generative AI APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, and similar platforms into core product workflows.
• Build AI workflows involving prompt engineering, RAG, response parsing, and agent orchestration.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, sessions, and related security practices.
• Design, optimise, and maintain database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Own features end-to-end across UI, frontend, backend, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code across the technology stack.
• Implement effective logging, monitoring, error handling, and performance optimisation.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, architecture decisions, and system design.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to improve development speed and productivity.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality product experiences.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application reliability, scalability, and performance.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, with strong exposure to full-stack engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Solid backend development experience with Python and Flask.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI APIs and AI-native application development.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL, database design, query optimisation, and data modelling.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorisation using JWT, OAuth, sessions, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of modern frontend architecture, state management, performance optimisation, and responsive design.
• Experience building production-grade applications and taking features from development through deployment and monitoring.
• Familiarity with RAG pipelines, vector databases, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AI agent frameworks is an advantage.
• Experience with Docker, cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP/Azure, and CI/CD is a plus.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and taking ownership of problems from identification through resolution.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand systems end-to-end.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities and responsibilities can evolve quickly.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with product, design, engineering, and leadership teams.
