Full Stack Engineer

Salary: RM 4,500 – RM 6,500 per month

About the role

This is a Full Stack Development role for WayJet, involving development and maintenance of both backend and frontend components. You will build complete product features from database and backend services through APIs and user-facing interfaces, develop new platform functionality and continuously improve existing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain both backend and frontend components of WayJet

• Build complete product features from database and backend services through APIs and user-facing interfaces

• Develop and maintain backend services primarily using Go (Golang)

• Design and maintain reliable REST APIs and platform services

• Integrate APIs from major AI model providers and maintain a unified interface across different models and providers

• Develop and improve routing between different AI providers and models

• Implement retry, fallback and failover mechanisms

• Develop and maintain API usage tracking and billing-related services

• Support streaming AI responses using technologies such as SSE

• Develop and maintain the WayJet web application using TypeScript and React

About you

• Experience with full stack development

• Proficiency in Go (Golang) for backend development

• Experience with TypeScript and React for frontend development

• Experience with REST API design and development

• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis or similar database technologies

• Experience with API integration and third-party service management

• Ability to write clean, maintainable and reusable code

• Experience with streaming technologies such as SSE

• Ability to work closely with engineers, product and business team members

• Experience with technical documentation and code reviews
