Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview

The Full Stack Engineer will join the Digital Lab team under WuXi Biologics’ Global Digital Technologies organization. The team is building enterprise-grade digital platforms and intelligent tools for biopharmaceutical R&D, manufacturing, quality, and laboratory operations.

This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering end-to-end software solutions across frontend, backend, database, integration, and cloud-native architecture. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, product-minded, and capable of building scalable, secure, and user-friendly applications that support the digital transformation of biopharmaceutical operations.

The description below is based on a mid-level engineer profile. We also welcome high-potential junior engineers and experienced senior engineers. Role level will be matched based on actual capability. Candidates with strong technical capability and project leadership potential may also be considered for a Tech Lead role.

Responsibilities

· Participate in the design and development of enterprise-level digital platforms for biopharmaceutical R&D, laboratory management, manufacturing execution, quality operations, and data-driven decision-making.

· Build full-stack web applications, including frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, databases, reporting modules, workflow components, and integrations with internal and external systems.

· Design and implement intuitive, responsive, and maintainable user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks, ensuring strong usability, performance, and consistency across products.

· Develop robust backend services, RESTful APIs, microservices, data models, business logic, and system integrations to support complex enterprise workflows.

· Design relational database structures to store experimental data, laboratory operation data, process data, instrument data, and business workflow data.

· Develop data interfaces and system integrations with laboratory instruments, enterprise systems, databases, analytics tools, algorithms, and AI/ML models to enable seamless data flow across business processes.

· Work closely with product managers, project managers, business users, UI/UX designers, testing engineers, architects, and other developers to clarify requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.

· Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, solution design, technical documentation, coding, testing, deployment, operation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

· Contribute to system architecture optimization, frontend engineering standards, backend development standards, code quality practices, security standards, and DevOps processes.

· Participate in code reviews and provide recommendations on frontend performance, backend scalability, database optimization, security enhancement, and maintainability.

· Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, optimize system performance, and continuously improve platform stability, reliability, and user experience.

· Stay up to date with modern software engineering practices, cloud-native technologies, AI-enabled development tools, and emerging trends in enterprise application development.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Automation, Bioinformatics, Mathematics, or a related field.

· 3+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack web application development. Strong junior candidates with high potential may also be considered.

· Solid understanding of modern web application architecture, including frontend, backend, database, API design, authentication, authorization, caching, messaging, and deployment.

· Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, with hands-on experience in modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or similar technologies.

· Familiarity with frontend engineering practices, including component-based development, state management, routing, API integration, responsive design, performance optimization, and browser compatibility.

· Strong backend development capability in Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or similar languages. Java and Spring Boot experience is strongly preferred.

· Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, MyBatis, Express, NestJS, FastAPI, Django, or equivalent frameworks.

· Solid understanding of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle, including schema design, SQL development, indexing, query optimization, and transaction management.

· Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, HBase, or Elasticsearch is a plus.

· Experience with RESTful APIs, HTTP protocol, system integration, third-party SDKs, and enterprise application interfaces.

· Familiarity with microservices architecture, distributed systems, containers, and cloud-native development. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Cloud, or service mesh technologies is a plus.

· Familiarity with DevOps tools and development workflows, including Git, CI/CD pipelines, Linux environments, shell scripting, monitoring, logging, and automated testing.

· Understanding of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, data encryption, input validation, secure API design, and vulnerability prevention.

· Experience with data visualization, reporting dashboards, workflow engines, laboratory systems, manufacturing systems, or enterprise management platforms is a plus.

· Experience in biopharmaceutical R&D, laboratory informatics, manufacturing digitization, quality systems, LIMS, ELN, MES, EBR, or instrument data integration is strongly preferred.

岗位职责

· 负责全栈 Web 应用开发，包括前端界面，后端服务，API，数据库，报表模块，流程组件，以及与内部和外部系统的集成。

· 使用现代前端框架设计和实现直观，响应式，可维护的用户界面，确保产品具备良好的易用性，性能和一致性。

· 开发稳定可靠的后端服务，RESTful API，微服务，数据模型，业务逻辑和系统集成能力，支撑复杂企业级业务流程。

· 设计关系型数据库结构，用于存储实验数据，实验室运营数据，流程数据，仪器数据及业务流程数据。

· 开发数据接口和系统集成能力，对接实验室仪器，企业系统，数据库，分析工具，算法模型和 AI/ML 模型，确保数据在业务流程中高效流动。

· 与产品经理，项目经理，业务用户，UI/UX 设计师，测试工程师，架构师和其他开发人员紧密合作，完成需求澄清，方案设计和项目交付。

· 参与软件研发全生命周期工作，包括需求分析，方案设计，技术文档，编码，测试，部署，运行监控和持续优化。

· 参与系统架构优化，前端工程规范，后端开发规范，代码质量标准，安全标准和 DevOps 流程建设。

任职资格

· 计算机科学，软件工程，信息系统，自动化，生物信息，数学或相关专业本科及以上学历。

· 具备 3 年以上全栈 Web 应用开发经验。高潜力初级候选人也可考虑。

· 理解现代 Web 应用架构，包括前端，后端，数据库，API 设计，认证鉴权，缓存，消息队列和部署运维。

· 熟练掌握 JavaScript 或 TypeScript，具备 React，Vue，Angular 或类似现代前端框架的实际开发经验。

· 熟悉前端工程实践，包括组件化开发，状态管理，路由，API 集成，响应式设计，性能优化和浏览器兼容性处理。

· 具备扎实的后端开发能力，熟悉 Java，Python，Node.js，Go 或类似语言。具备 Java 和 Spring Boot 经验者优先。
