The role of Full Stack Java Developer focuses on the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of internet-facing Commercial Cards applications within the Cards Service Domain. The consultant is responsible for designing and implementing new functionalities while ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of business-critical applications.
Main Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Develop and enhance microservices-based solutions following clean code principles and best practices.
Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists, and Operations teams to deliver business value.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, incidents, and production issues.
Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities through various security assessments.
Drive secure coding practices and contribute to improving security posture.
Support CI/CD processes with tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
Optimize application performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and implementations.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements
5+ years of Full Stack Java development experience with proven ability to test changes.
Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
Proficiency in Angular and Angular Material.
Experience with Kafka and SQL databases.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Nice to Have
Experience in banking, cards, or payments domain.
Familiarity with cloud platforms.
DevSecOps and vulnerability management experience.
Experience with performance tuning and application monitoring.
Technical mentoring and coaching experience.
