Full-Stack Java Developer
Salary: £69,000 - 109,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong commercial Java development experience
- Good experience designing and building solutions in AWS
- Full-stack development experience using JavaScript, React and TypeScript
- Previous experience leading engineers or providing technical direction
- Understanding of software architecture and technical design
- Experience working throughout the full software development lifecycle
- Strong communication and stakeholder-engagement skills
- Ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into practical technical solutions
- Strong commercial experience in software engineering and modern application development
- Experience building scalable applications, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience working with cloud platforms and modern software delivery practices
- Good understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and Infrastructure as Code
- Must be able to obtain high-level UK security clearance
- Must be a British citizen
- Must have lived permanently in the UK for the last five years
- Lead and support a team of software engineers
- Design, develop and test bespoke software solutions
- Provide technical direction and communicate clearly with clients
- Produce solution architectures and technical designs
- Build full-stack applications using Java, JavaScript, React and TypeScript
- Design and deploy cloud-based solutions, primarily using AWS
- Create continuous integration pipelines using tools such as GitLab
- Work across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through to delivery, support and maintenance
