Full-Stack .NET Developer - Shipping Platform

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack.NET Developer to maintain and enhance a web-based ship management system.This platform handles workflows including vessel certificates generation and billing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Maintenance & Support : Maintain and troubleshoot a production ASP.NET Core Razor Pages application built on .NET 9


• Feature Development : Design and implement new features including enhancements to vessel registration workflows, certificate generation, invoicing, and reporting systems


• Database Management : Work with PostgreSQL databases, write efficient queries, and optimize database performance


• Code Quality : Write clean, maintainable code following established patterns and conduct code reviews


• System Integration : Integrate with third-party APIs and external services


• Security & Compliance : Implement security best practices and ensure data protection standards are met


• Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation for features and system processes

Required Technical Skills

Backend:

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core/.NET 9


• Experience with ASP.NET Core Razor Pages (preferred) or MVC


• Solid understanding of Entity Framework Core with PostgreSQL


• Knowledge of ASP.NET Core Identity and authentication/authorization


• RESTful API development and integration

Frontend:

• JavaScript,HTML5, CSS3


• jQuery and modern JavaScript frameworks


• Experience with responsive web design


• Understanding of PDF generation libraries (e.g., Rotativa, NReco)

Database:

• PostgreSQL database design and optimization


• Writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures


• Database migration strategies

DevOps & Tools:

• Git version control with branching strategies (GitFlow)

Professional Requirements

• Experience : Possesses experience in full-stack .NET development
