Full Stack PHP / Laravel Developer – We are looking for a motivated developer to join our team. If you are passionate about technology, constantly seeking to learn and improve your skill set, you are the type of person we are looking for!

Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front‑end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front‑end elements.

The platform also hosts information of public interest in different fields such as human resources, job market, payroll, etc., structured both in the form of articles and forum discussions. The platform is present in 14 countries: Romania, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria and MENA.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web‑based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platforms.
  • Build innovative, state‑of‑the‑art applications and collaborate with the teams.
  • Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript are valid and consistent across applications.
  • Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
  • Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API.
  • Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post‑launch support.
  • Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
  • Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
  • Coordinate with co‑developers and keep the project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serve as liaison between development staff and project manager.
  • Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.

Your profile

  • Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel.
  • Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP.
  • Understanding of MVC design patterns.
  • Strong knowledge and previous experience with front‑end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL.
  • Strong knowledge and previous experience with JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, Angular and Node.js.
  • Knowledge of object‑oriented PHP programming.
  • Strong knowledge of common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
  • Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
  • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
  • Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Creative and efficient problem solver.
  • Previous experience in software testing.
