Full Stack Python Engineer - GCP

About Position:

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Python Engineer - GCP with strong expertise in building scalable data processing, integration, and cloud-native application solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, REST APIs, BigQuery, Apache Beam, Dataproc, and SQL. You will play a key role in designing enterprise-grade data platforms, developing backend services, and implementing large-scale data processing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop enterprise applications and backend services using Python.
• Build and maintain scalable REST APIs and reusable service components.
• Develop data ingestion, transformation, and processing solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement and optimize large-scale data processing solutions using BigQuery.
• Build Apache Beam pipelines for batch and streaming data processing workloads.
• Develop and support distributed data processing solutions using Dataproc, Spark, and PySpark.
• Integrate applications with databases, cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and third-party APIs.
• Design reusable frameworks for data ingestion, validation, transformation, and data publishing.
• Implement logging, monitoring, exception handling, and data quality controls across applications and pipelines.
• Develop unit tests, integration tests, and participate in peer code reviews.
• Troubleshoot application, API, and data pipeline issues across development and production environments.
• Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, security, and engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Follow best practices for scalability, security, performance optimization, and maintainability.
• Contribute to CI/CD implementation and automated deployment processes.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, MCA, or equivalent qualification.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in Python application development and data engineering.
• Strong hands-on programming experience using Python.
• Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of data processing concepts.
• Hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong experience with BigQuery for analytical and large-scale data processing workloads.
• Experience building data processing solutions using Apache Beam.
• Experience with Dataproc, Spark, and PySpark for distributed computing.
• Understanding of both batch and streaming data processing architectures.
• Experience integrating applications with databases, APIs, cloud services, and enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and coding best practices.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and code quality standards.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
