About the role
We are seeking a hands-on and commercially minded Full-Stack Shopify Developer to join our team in Hong Kong. This role is ideal for someone who is strong in Shopify development across frontend and backend/custom app integration, and who also has exposure to ERP-related reporting or enterprise systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing Shopify-based eCommerce solutions, supporting system integrations, and contributing to ongoing digital enhancement projects.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Shopify / Shopify Plus storefronts and custom features
Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend best practices
Develop and maintain custom apps, private apps, or third-party integrations for Shopify
Integrate Shopify with backend systems such as ERP, inventory, order management, CRM, payment gateways, and logistics platforms
Collaborate with business users, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storefront functionality, checkout flows, apps, and integrations
Support data flow between eCommerce and enterprise systems to ensure accuracy in orders, stock, customer, and financial information
About you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline
3+ years of relevant experience in web or eCommerce development, with solid hands-on exposure to Shopify development
Strong experience in Shopify platform, Liquid, HTML5 / CSS3, JavaScript, REST APIs / GraphQL APIs
Experience with Jaspersoft Studio, especially in report layout design, parameter configuration, report generation
Experience in full-stack development, including backend logic, API integration, and database handling
Experience integrating Shopify with third-party systems or enterprise platforms
Good understanding of eCommerce workflows, including product, inventory, cart, checkout, order, and fulfillment processes
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
