Full-Stack Software Developer
Summary
Builds, tests, deploys, and maintains full-stack web applications for Delta Dental of Kentucky and its affiliates, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders across the SDLC. Core stack is C#/.NET (ASP.NET, .NET 6+, Entity Framework Core) with front-end work in React or Blazor, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and relational databases.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and supports assigned software applications for Delta Dental of Kentucky and its affiliates and subsidiaries, working with senior team members as needed.
- Collaborates with business users and external partners to clarify requirements, identify constraints, and translate approved requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborates with lead and senior developers on solution design and independently implements well-defined features, enhancements, and defect corrections.
- Investigates and resolves application incidents and defects, documenting root causes and corrective actions when appropriate.
- Identifies and communicates potential application risks, follows secure development practices, and complies with applicable security standards and organizational policies.
- Creates user-friendly interfaces used by internal and external customers.
- Creates and maintains automated unit and integration tests, prepares test data, and supports end users during acceptance testing and validation.
- Develops and maintains technical, operational, and user documentation for assigned applications, including configuration, deployment, support, and troubleshooting information.
