Role Summary

The Full Stack Software Developer will design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications supporting PhillipCapital DIFC’s brokerage and wealth management platform. The role requires strong expertise in Angular and .NET Core, combining front-end development with robust back-end architecture to build secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise applications. The developer will be responsible for the full software delivery lifecycle, including solution design, development, integration, deployment, maintenance, and ongoing optimisation, while working closely with product, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Engineering

  • Develop responsive, high-quality front-end applications using Angular (v10+).
  • Design and implement reusable UI components, services, and modules.
  • Optimise application performance, load time, and overall user experience.

Back-End & API Development

  • Build secure, scalable REST APIs using .NET Core (5/6/7/8).
  • Integrate front-end applications with back-end APIs and databases.
  • Work with SQL databases (MS SQL Server) and ORM tools (Entity Framework Core).

Security & Identity

  • Implement authentication and authorisation frameworks (JWT, OAuth, IdentityServer).
  • Ensure application security, performance, and reliability across all environments.

DevOps & Deployment

  • Deploy applications to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) or on-premise environments.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes.

Engineering Quality

  • Write clean, maintainable, testable code following industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Collaborate with product owners, designers, and QA teams to deliver features end-to-end.
  • Communicate progress, dependencies, and technical trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of professional full-stack development experience, with deep hands-on expertise in Angular (v10+) and .NET Core (5/6/7/8).
  • Demonstrable track record of building, deploying, and maintaining scalable, high-performance enterprise web applications.
  • Strong command of REST API design, MS SQL Server, and Entity Framework Core.
  • Practical experience with cloud deployment (Azure / AWS), CI/CD pipelines, and automated build processes.
  • Exposure to financial services, brokerage, or trading platforms an advantage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline required.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) an advantage.

Skills & Attributes

  • Disciplined engineering approach — clean code, testing, documentation, and secure development practices.
