Full Stack Software Engineer 2

You will own features from product handoff through release, breaking work into deliverable stories and communicating progress and risks. You will build complex backend and frontend solutions, collaborate on architecture, review code, participate in scrum ceremonies, lead demos, and resolve issues found in QA, UAT, and production.

Responsibilities

• Own epics end to end from product handoff through delivery and release
• Build backend services with TypeScript and Node.js and frontend applications with React
• Report epic progress accurately and raise risks early
• Partner with the Product Manager and senior engineers on technical design and architecture decisions
• Use and rigorously review AI coding tools
• Lead company-wide demos for delivered epic work
• Review teammates' code for design concerns, edge cases, and testing gaps
• Participate in refinement, sprint kick-offs, standups, demos, and retrospectives
• Work directly with Product, QA, and UX throughout delivery
• Investigate and resolve issues found in QA, UAT, and production

Requirements

• 3 or more years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production software
• Strong TypeScript or JavaScript knowledge with depth in Node.js and React
• Experience taking substantial work from ambiguous requirements to released software
• Comfort with relational databases, SQL, and data modeling
• Experience with microservices, Docker, and a cloud platform such as AWS
• Automated testing experience
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants
• Clear written English communication
• Authorization to work in the United States or Canada
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
