Full Stack Software Engineer
FinXL IT Professional Services is an established innovative Australian company providing technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across a number of industries including Telecommunications, Commercial, Government and Finance.
We're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with 4-7 years of commercial experience to join a technology team in a hands-on development role. You'll have a strong backend focus across C#/.NET, APIs and SQL, while also contributing to frontend development using React and JavaScript.
You'll work across application development, integrations and automation within a large enterprise environment, working closely with developers, architects and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance applications using C# / .NET / ASP.NET
- Build and maintain REST APIs, web services and system integrations
- Develop and optimise SQL queries and database solutions
- Contribute to frontend development using React and JavaScript
- Support automation, workflows and self-service solutions
- Troubleshoot application, integration and production issues
- Write unit and automated tests to support application quality and reliability
- Work within an Agile / SAFe environment, contributing to sprint planning, estimation and delivery
- Work with technical teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- 4-7 years of commercial software development experience
- Strong experience with C# / .NET / ASP.NET
- Experience developing REST APIs / Web APIs
- Good SQL and database skills
- Hands-on experience with React and JavaScript
- Understanding of JSON, XML and system integrations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
Experience across cloud platforms, observability, automation or enterprise integration technologies will be highly regarded. Exposure to technologies such as Splunk, Elastic, Nokia SMP or network environments is beneficial but not essential.
