Full Stack Software Engineer
Summary
Full-stack software engineer at Flok, a healthtech startup making clinical treatments (e.g. for musculoskeletal pain) deliverable at scale. Day to day you build full-stack web features with a frontend focus in TypeScript/Python, work with product and UX, and improve testing and observability, in a hybrid in-person culture.
Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong programming skills, ideally in TypeScript or Python
- Experience in full-stack web development
- Enjoy working with design and product teams to shape products
- Care deeply about users and champion a great experience and access to quality clinical care
- Take initiative and ownership, and communicate clearly
- For more experienced hires: experience building and scaling consumer-facing production web applications
- For more experienced hires: experience maintaining applications over time and understanding how early decisions affect systems as they grow
- For more experienced hires: experience developing and testing frontends for widespread use across a range of devices and browsers
- For more experienced hires: experience mentoring team members and maturing engineering processes
- Bonus, not required: iOS or Android app development, software medical devices or another regulated industry, startup experience, UI design (such as in Figma), or video streaming and real-time technologies
- Build new product features, primarily full-stack with a frontend focus
- Design non-functional app features, such as offline support and improved observability
- Contribute to technical roadmap planning
- Work with product and UX teams to iterate on app design and requirements
- Participate in bug triage, diagnosis, and incident investigations
- Improve app test coverage, especially across a variety of user devices
