Full Stack Software Engineer

Salary: RM 5,000 – RM 6,000 per month

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing, enhancing and maintaining business applications. The successful candidate will work closely with users, IT teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business and user requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Design, develop, enhance and maintain full-stack applications based on business and technical requirements.

• Handle application enhancements, Change Requests (CRs) and Business-As-Usual (BAU) development activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, system and production issues.

• Develop and optimise database queries to improve application performance.

• Monitor application and server performance to ensure system stability and availability.

• Develop and integrate APIs, libraries and software components to support business requirements.

• Lead or coordinate application enhancement activities, including development, testing, implementation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Provide technical advice and recommendations to users and stakeholders on application-related matters.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers where required.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure solutions meet development, quality and security standards.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system specifications and operating procedures.

• Collaborate with users, IT teams and other stakeholders to deliver application requirements within agreed timelines.

• Stay updated on relevant technologies, development practices and application security requirements.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software/application development.

• Strong hands-on experience in .NET technologies and full-stack development.

• Good knowledge of programming languages, databases, APIs and software development tools.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of software development lifecycle, testing and deployment processes.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand business requirements and explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple technical tasks and meet agreed timelines.

• Ability to work collaboratively with users, IT teams and other stakeholders.
