## About WordLift WordLift builds AI-powered SEO technology that helps companies make their content understandable to search engines and AI systems. Our products combine knowledge graphs, structured data, and generative AI and are used by global brands, publishers, and e-commerce companies. We are looking for a full stack engineer with at least four years of professional experience to build and operate customer-facing features across our Java backend and React frontend. ## What You’ll Do - Build customer-facing applications and dashboards with React - Develop APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot - Integrate our platform with WordPress through plugins, REST APIs, custom post types, and metadata - Design, implement, test, and release features end to end - Investigate production issues and improve reliability and performance - Collaborate with product, design, and AI engineers - Contribute to technical and product decisions - Support production releases and take ownership of delivered features ## What We’re Looking For - At least four years of professional software development experience - Strong Java and Spring Boot experience, including REST API development - Professional experience with React, hooks, and component-based application design - Experience integrating with WordPress or another content management system - Familiarity with automated testing, Git, and CI/CD workflows - Working knowledge of Docker - Clear written and spoken English - Ability to work independently and collaborate during Central European working hours You do not need to meet every preferred qualification to apply. ## Useful Additional Experience - WordPress plugin development, ACF, hooks, and custom post types - Python - GraphQL - MongoDB or PostgreSQL - Kubernetes - Generative AI or LLM API integrations - SaaS or startup product development - Knowledge graphs, structured data, or SEO ## How We Work WordLift is a remote-first company with an office in central Rome. You will work closely with the CTO, product team, and other engineers. Engineers own features from initial discussion through production release.
