About the project
Our client is a global cloud provider, and the team you'll join is part of a fast-evolving engineering group responsible for cloud capacity, supply chain, and provisioning. The group's mission is to deliver capacity for all cloud services predictably and at scale, through intelligent systems driven by continuous learning.
You will join as a Full-Stack Software Engineer building and maintaining .NET services and Angular front-ends backed by SQL and a broad set of Azure services. The split is roughly 50% backend / 50% frontend and may shift depending on team priorities. The role includes participation in DRI (on-call) shifts
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with .NET / C# (backend services and APIs)
- Solid front-end experience — Angular is strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with SQL and query/performance optimization
- Practical experience with Azure services, including:
- Azure SQL
- Azure Cosmos DB
- Azure App Service
- Azure Functions
- Azure Storage Account
- Azure Application Insights
- Azure Data Explorer (KQL)
- Azure Synapse
- Good understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns
- Experience building high-performance, service-oriented solutions
- Readiness to take part in a DRI / on-call rotation
Nice to have
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems
- KQL-based monitoring and diagnostics
- Data platform exposure (Synapse pipelines, notebooks)
- Experience working directly with US-based stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET / C# on Azure
- Build and support Angular front-end applications
- Work with Azure SQL and Cosmos DB for data access, validation, and performance optimization
- Develop and support solutions on Azure App Service, Functions, and Storage
- Use Application Insights and Azure Data Explorer (KQL) for monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
- Contribute to Azure Synapse–based data scenarios
- Write and maintain tests to ensure code quality
- Participate in the DRI on-call rotation to support system reliability
- Collaborate closely with the client's engineering and business teams
Availability expectations
- Required availability until 12 PM PST / 21:00 CET due to late-evening meetings with the client
- Regular meetings are held between 19:30–21:00 CET
- DRI schedule: from 9 AM PST Monday through 9 AM PST the following Monday
