Summary
Full Stack Software Engineer building and evolving products behind Improove's payment platform: developing REST APIs, web applications, and payment integrations with C#/.NET 8, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server, plus optional Next.js/Nuxt.js frontend work on a small team working closely with founders.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll help design, build, and evolve the products behind our payment platform.
Your responsibilities include:
- Design and develop new features across backend and frontend.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, web applications, and payment integrations.
- Improve the platform through bug fixing, refactoring, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with founders and product teams to turn ideas into production.
- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to technical decisions.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership, and loves building great software.
You should have:
- Experience developing modern web applications.
- Strong knowledge of C# and .NET 8 (or recent versions).
- Experience with REST APIs, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server.
- A proactive mindset, attention to code quality, and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Good communication skills.
It’s a plus if you have:
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as Next.js or Nuxt.js.
- A product-oriented mindset: ability to think beyond code, help define features, clarify requirements, and contribute to product decisions.
