Full Stack Software Engineer (.NET+React)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join a team developing and maintaining business applications supporting HR processes for one of the leading ERP and HR software providers in the Polish market.

In this role, you'll work on both desktop and web applications, contributing to their development, maintenance, and modernization. You'll have the opportunity to work with modern Microsoft technologies, SQL databases, cloud solutions, and React-based front-end applications while collaborating closely with Product Owners, Designers, and other Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and modernize desktop and web applications built on the .NET platform.

  • Design and implement new features using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and React.

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, database structures, and data models.

  • Participate in application modernization initiatives, including migration from desktop to web-based solutions.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Engineers, Designers, and Developers throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical improvements.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

  • Work within Scrum/Agile development teams.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of commercial experience as a Software Engineer.

  • Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET 6+).

  • Experience developing desktop applications using WinForms and/or WPF.

  • Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

  • Experience with React or another modern front-end framework.

  • Good understanding of relational databases and SQL (SQL Server, Azure SQL).

  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.

  • Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments.

  • Knowledge of Git.

  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

  • English at minimum B1/B2 level.

  • Polish at minimum B2 level.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is a plus.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Knowledge of TypeScript.

  • Experience modernizing desktop applications and migrating them to web-based solutions.

  • Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

  • Experience writing unit, integration, and automated tests.

  • Knowledge of application security principles and GDPR.

  • Experience with ERP, HR, or payroll systems.

  • Experience with Entity Framework, SignalR, REST API, Web API, and microservices.

  • Experience integrating third-party systems and APIs.

  • Knowledge of the MVVM pattern for WPF applications.

  • Experience using AI tools in daily software development.
