We're looking for a versatile, technically capable Full-Stack Software Engineer who can develop, troubleshoot, deploy, and maintain real-world applications.

Your Role
You'll work directly with and report to our CTO, who leads system architecture, technical strategy, and infrastructure direction.
Your focus will be:
70% Full-Stack Development
- Develop, maintain, and enhance features using Next.js (TypeScript) and Python (FastAPI).
- Build and integrate REST APIs, payment gateways, and third-party services.
- Manage PostgreSQL databases, optimise queries, and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Debug production issues, write automated tests, and maintain secure, reliable code.
- Deliver features from development and testing through to deployment.
30% DevOps & Infrastructure Support
- Support Linux VPS infrastructure, production environments, and application deployments.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment scripts, and basic automation.
- Monitor system uptime, logs, server health, and application performance.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and support backups, recovery, and security maintenance.
- Work with the CTO to improve infrastructure reliability and scalability.

Who We're Looking For
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience developing, deploying, and maintaining production applications.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Next.js/React, and FastAPI or equivalent frameworks.
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Git, and relational databases.
Practical knowledge of Linux servers, CI/CD workflows, deployments, and production monitoring.
Experience with automated testing, debugging, application security, and performance optimisation.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate and resolve technical issues.
