The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and ship full-stack features for a software platform, from user interfaces to backend services and data pipelines. Work directly with customers, turn their feedback into working solutions quickly, and take ownership of reliability, security and quality in an early engineering team.
What you'll do
- Design and build intuitive user interfaces that fit into customers' daily workflows.
- Build APIs that let the platform integrate with chat tools, spreadsheets and other external applications.
- Develop ingestion pipelines that convert varied, unstructured and structured data into a unified data layer.
- Speak with customers directly, learn their pain points and deliver fixes within days.
- Uphold high standards of security, privacy and system reliability when handling sensitive data.
- Create thorough evaluation sets to verify the reliability of LLM-based features.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Experience shipping full-stack products, for example with React/TypeScript and Python or Node.
- Proficiency in full-stack development.
- Experience designing data models and APIs at scale, with care for getting schemas right.
- Interest in taking AI features into production and building dependable products around them.
- A background at a company with a strong, sophisticated engineering bar.
- A track record of fast career progression, shown through growth in title or scope.
- A degree from a top computer science program.
- Clear motivation for joining an early-stage startup, with a strong sense of ownership and engineering craft.
- For New York roles: 5+ years of experience and the ability to lead, as these are the first senior engineering hires in that location.

- Base salary: USD 150,000 to 300,000 per year
