The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Join as an early engineer working across the whole stack, shipping software and tooling that bring advanced machine learning work into real use. You will partner closely with scientists, designers and infrastructure specialists and own features from first idea through release.
What you'll do
- Build and operate production-grade web applications, backend services, client libraries and reusable code packages.
- Take features from an early idea through prototype, release and continued improvement driven by feedback.
- Convert experimental research results into dependable product functionality and clean interfaces for engineers.
- Shape system design and plan for growth in load and usage.
- Work with research, design and infrastructure partners to balance product goals with technical feasibility.
- Set and maintain quality standards, including automated testing, CI/CD, documentation and release practices.
- Create tools that let colleagues and outside engineers work with AI-powered systems more easily.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- Strong technical fundamentals, including concurrency, architecture and a deep understanding of how software works, with a natural AI-first approach to engineering.
- Product mindset and the technical skill to take requirements from customers or researchers and deliver a working end-to-end solution.
- Hands-on experience building and shipping complete agent systems, beyond simple LLM API integrations or single components.
- A mix of experience in a large technology company with mature codebases and in early-stage or research settings with ambiguity.
- A degree in computer science or another highly technical STEM field from a top-tier university.
- Genuine curiosity about building agents, shown through side projects or open-source contributions.
- Proficiency with Python and TypeScript.

- Background creating tooling or reusable software components for other engineers.

- Base salary: USD 200,000 to 300,000 per year
