Full Stack Software Engineering - Team Lead

In this role you lead and contribute hands-on to a full stack engineering team focused on delivering reliable software. You translate product priorities into actionable technical plans, influence architecture, and ensure quality, security, and scalability. You work across front-end, back-end, cloud, and infrastructure to balance rapid delivery with long-term maintainability. You’ll mentor engineers, drive improvements in practices and tooling, and collaborate with Product and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals. • Lead day-to-day technical direction and ensure delivery against priorities
• Contribute hands-on to design, development, testing, deployment, and support of production software
• Guide architecture and design decisions across front-end, back-end, cloud, and infrastructure
• Break down complex initiatives into actionable work and estimate effort
• Mentor engineers and facilitate technical discussions
• Review code and enforce standards for quality, maintainability, scalability, security, observability, and testing
• Partner with Product and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies early and drive action
• Improve development practices, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and team processes
• Promote ownership across the full application lifecycle including deployment and production support

• Significant professional software engineering experience with leadership or mentoring experience
• Strong back-end development experience
• Production experience with Go (desirable)
• Strong JavaScript experience with single-page frameworks, especially React
• Experience delivering production-grade full stack applications
• Understanding of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and modern development practices
• Experience with unit, integration, and performance testing
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, SQS, ECS, EC2, Lambda)
• Proficiency with Git, code reviews, and modern engineering practices
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• English fluency and ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
