Summary
Lief is hiring a full-stack developer (2–4 years' experience) to build its platform for UK care workers. Day to day: shipping web features with React, Next.js, and Node.js, working with GraphQL, Prisma, and PostgreSQL, writing tests, fixing bugs, and collaborating with product managers and designers.
We're looking for a full-stack developer with 2–4 years of experience to work in our fast-paced delivery environment. You will contribute to building the Lief platform using a modern web stack, helping care workers across the UK do their jobs better every day.
What will you be doing?
If you're successfully hired for this role, you will be taking up the following responsibilities among others:
- Build and maintain web features using ReactJS, Next.js, and Node.js
- Work with GraphQL APIs, Prisma ORM, and PostgreSQL databases
- Implement responsive and accessible frontend interfaces
- Write unit and integration tests for new features
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers
- Investigate and fix bugs across the stack
What you'll need to bring to the table?
- 2–4 years of professional full-stack development experience
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS, Next.js, Node.js, GraphQL, and Postgres
- Understanding of relational database design
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a remote environment
Good to have
- Experience with Prisma ORM
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
