Full-Time Desktop Support II - 8.0 Hours Per Day

Experience and Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the IT field.
  2. Associates Degree, related technology certifications and 2+ years experience in the field
  3. Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and solve technology problems.
  4. Familiarity with PC and Mac operating systems.
  5. Knowledge of desktops, laptops, tablets and handheld devices.
  6. Ability to interact with others in a manner that demonstrates professionalism, respect, and dignity.
  7. Act 34 Clearance, Act 151 Clearance, FBI Clearance (self-paid)
  8. Act 126 & Act 71 Training Certificates
  9. Bloodborne Pathogens Certificate
  10. Drug Screening (self-paid)
  11. Letter of Interest, Resume and Application Directly Through the District Website

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports, monitors, installs, tests, and troubleshoots district hardware and software.
  • Provides Level 2 technical support to Desktop 1 technicians.
  • Installs applications, inventories and supports mobile devices (iPads, Tablets, cellphones, Kindles).
  • Recommends and schedules repairs.
  • Assists with district-wide projects.
  • Maintains documentation for the department.
  • Assists with district trainings and Professional Development days.
  • Any other related duties as assigned.
