Allegro Fort Lauderdale — one of South Florida's most respected senior living communities — is hiring a Full-Time Driver to transport residents safely and comfortably on outings, appointments, and community excursions. With a consistent Sunday–Thursday schedule, you'll always have Friday and Saturday off — and spend your workweek making a real difference for residents who look forward to every trip.
What You'll Do:
Safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping, outings, and community events
Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle with patience and care
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of community vehicles
Follow all traffic laws and community transport protocols
Build genuine relationships with residents throughout every ride
Coordinate scheduling and routing with the activities and care team
What You Bring:
Minimum 1 year of driving experience in a hotel, healthcare, or Assisted Living setting — required
Valid driver's license and clean driving record — required
Patient, warm, and genuinely enjoys working with seniors
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Comfortable assisting residents with mobility needs

The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation services for the residents of the Community.
Areas of Responsibility
Drive residents to outings, health care appointments, banking and other activities as determined by the Lifestyle Director/Concierge and the Executive Director.
Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle. Assist in loading packages, boxes, sacks, etc.
Coordinate Community transportation services ensuring the maintenance of the vehicles and adherence to the transportation budget and expenditures as directed.

Required Qualifications
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Must possess good judgment, time management, decision making, and safety awareness skills.
Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company Fleet Safety standards. Driving is an essential function of this position and a condition of employment. Associates in this role are required to meet and maintain Company driving eligibility and insurability requirements to perform assigned job duties.
MVR reviews will be conducted at hire and periodically thereafter in accordance with Company policy. Failure to meet or maintain Company driving standards may result in removal from driving responsibilities and may impact continued employment eligibility for this position.
